Dates: August 27 – September 2. Official practice day
on Saturday, August 26.
Sanctioning: USHPA and FAI Cat 2 sanctioned.
Format: Turn points and race to goal.
Rules: USHPA
2006 Competition Rule book.
Trophies/Prizes: Overall/Open Class
1, 2, 3. Women’s 1st. Sport Class 1st.
Sport/Serial Class: DHV 2 and under,
no modifications.
Location: All launch sites are located on the summit of Bald
Mountain, (9100feet/2774meters MSL), top of the Sun Valley Resort.

Pilot Skill Level Required: All contestants must be current
USHPA members. No exceptions. P4 required, or P3 with Turbulence,
Cross Country and High Altitude Special Skill endorsements.
Equipment requirements: Paraglider
& Harness, Helmet, Reserve, GPS and Radio capable of receiving
and transmitting on all official USHPA frequencies. Supplemental
oxygen recommended.
Early Registration until July 15th: $325
Late Registration following July 15th: $400
Registration and Payment: Register on-line. Payment by PayPal,
check or credit card. Payments with PayPal can be routed directly
on the regisrtation form. Checks payable to Fly Sun Valley that
are mailed, must be post marked by July 15th for early registration
eligibility. Contact FSV for credit card payments.
Mandatory Pilot Briefing: Saturday,
August 26th at 7pm. Location: Apple's Bar & Grill, Warm Springs/Ketchum.
Transportation: Each contestant will
receive an 8 day lift pass to access the summit of Bald Mountain.
This pass is valid from August 26 – September 2. Shuttle vehicles
will transport contestants from goal back to River Run LZ and Ketchum.
Parking: Ample parking at River Run
LZ.
